Pamela McBride has served military families personally and professionally for twenty years. She serves as a Well-Being Program Specialist for the Department of the Army and is a freelance writer for www.homefrontonline.com. She is the coauthor of Work It, Girl! The Black Woman's Guide to Professional Success, and has been a frequent contributor to various magazines, including Essence and Black Collegian, as well as Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps Times supplements. She lives south of Atlanta, Georgia.
