Description

"There is nothing 'historical' or dated about the three concertos. They live completely in a timeless world of their own." -- Veinus, The Concerto.
Here are three of the best-loved, most performed, most recorded works in the violin repertoire, conveniently gathered in one inexpensive volume. Reproduced directly from the unsurpassed Bach-Gesellschaft edition, this sturdily bound volume presents the full scores for all three of Bach's violin concerti:
Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in A Minor, BWV 1041
Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Major, BWV 1042
Concerto for Two Violins and Orchestra in D Minor, BWV 1043
Long recognized for their exquisite beauty and technical ingenuity, these works belong in the repertoire of any serious violinist. Now all three are readily available in this convenient, one-volume presentation -- carefully produced with large noteheads, wide margins, and other clear engravings -- a welcome addition to the libraries of violinists and Bach connoisseurs everywhere.
