Yuna Park is just a regular Korean-American teenager. But that all changes when one day her parents decide to go back to their home country-Korea

She is shocked by her extremely traditional family, but she gradually adjusts by abandoning her "American" past. Six years pass and Yuna Park is now more Korean than American. Her father again surprises the family by moving back to America. Angry at her father's decision, Yuna tries to resist, but has no choice.

Yuna again feels culture shock from the American teen culture. Not knowing how to be the standardized American, she only feels safe in her Korean crowd.
