Singer/actress Demi Lovato has openly discussed her battles with eating disorders and bipolar disorder. These examples of celebrities openly discussing their personal experiences has helped to make mental health a more open conversation in American society (Heiser, 2021; Silva, 2021).There have been several research studies that have added to the problem space of the study.
