Miki Aihara was born in Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan and currently lives in Tokyo. She made her debut in 1991 with Lip Conscious!, published in Bessatsu Shôjo Comic. Her immensely popular manga Hot Gimmick is published in English by VIZ Media. Aihara moves houses frequently and loves to go to movies and shop for clothes. One of her hobbies is keeping tropical fish.
