About the Author
Barbara Houtz, M.Ed., is Director of Outreach for the Pennsylvania State University Eberly College of Science. She also teaches a course on Scientists Teaching Science for graduate and post-graduate science researchers. Barbara develops and presents professional development workshops on teaching science through inquiry, training both elementary and secondary teachers nationwide.
