A New York Times Bestsellerr
Happiness Is a Choice You Make, based on award-winning journalist John Leland's New York Times series, weaves the stories and lessons of six New Yorkers who number among the oldest old those over the age of 85. What Leland learns from the elders upends contemporary notions of aging, revealing the late stages of life as unexpectedly rich and the elderly as incomparably wise. Happiness Is a Choice You Make is an extraordinary look at what it means to grow old and heartening guide to living better.
