Xin Bingyong, born in 1954, graduated from the Art Department of East China Normal University. He is skilled in traditional Chinese painting, comic strips, and cartoons. He is a member of the China Artists Association and the Shanghai Artists Association and a standing director of the Shanghai Minmeng Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He is also the director of the “ Xin Bingyong Studio” at the Shanghai Haipai Comic Strip Center. He has published more than 20 picture albums and comic strips.
