Wallace, an associate professor of history at Laurentian University concentrating on Canadian urban history, edited City Government in Northern Ontario, a special issue of the Laurentian University Review. Dr. Wallace is also co-editor of Reappraisals in Canadian History. Ashley Thomson, a librarian at Laurentian University, is co-editor of The Bibliography of Ontario History 1976-1986, Temagami: A Debate on Wilderness, and At the End of the Shift, all published by Dundurn Press. He is currently editing The Bibliography of Northern Ontario 1966-1991 and The Bibliography of Ontario History 1987-1992.
