A quote from each hero is included on each spread, along with colorful, delightful artwork.

About the Author

Lorri Antosz Benson is an award-winning television producer, writer, author, family advocate, and former internationally syndicated columnist. She worked on Donahue, the acclaimed show hosted by the legendary Phil Donahue, for 15 years, eight of which were spent as senior producer. Lorri received two Emmy Awards and 10 Emmy nominations for her work on Donahue and was twice awarded the American Women in Radio and Television commendation. She spent 11 years writing Talk theTalk, an internationally syndicated column on talk television. Illustrator Juanita Londoño Gaviria was born in Colombia amidst the mountains, surrounded by nature, birds, and flowers.
