As Rex and M ire reunite, therian operatives swarm Cthonia. The Cthonians, Rex, M ire, and Aral flee, but they are soon embroiled in a firefight with an advance therian guard. When the Cthonians defeat the therians, they force the sky dwellers to remove their respirators.
