Description
Plasma is a collection of charged and neutral particles which shows some collective behaviour.
The long range coulomb forces enable the charged particles in a plasma to interact with
each other simultaneously. This effect gives rise to the collective behaviour of the plasma.
The long-range electromagnetic forces are much larger than the forces arising due to the
collisions between the neutral particles. So, the forces due to collisions can be neglected
altogether and the plasma can be assumed to be collisionless in most of the cases.
