About the Author


Phillip D. Rumrill is a Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling and Director of the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University. He has a Ph.D, in Rehabilitation from the University of Arkansas and has co-authored many professional books and also the Demos Health book "Employment issues and Multiple Sclerosis (Second Edition)." He writes for many journals and professional outlets and speaks frequently.

Kimberly Wickert is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has worked with individuals in the field of rehabilitation for more than 20 years. She has a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wright State University. Kimberly has worked with people with disabilities and their families.

Danielle Dresden is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has been working with people with disabilities and their families for 14 years. She has a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University. She has served as the primary caregiver for several family members.
