Arlene Maguire has been writing books for children for over three decades. Her books reflect her commitment to relating the importance of self-worth in young people. With a degree from Rutgers University, Arlene taught elementary school for nearly twenty years. A native of New Jersey, she lives in San Diego, California. Sheila Bailey's career started with Hallmark greeting cards. Her illustrating talent evolved rapidly into a successful freelance career. She has illustrated over 22 children's books and lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
