Inspired by the "Arab Spring" uprisings, the Lambert Collection decided to stage an exhibition commemorating the struggles of the southeast Mediterranean Arabic countries and the visual history of Orientalism. This volume includes works by Adel Abdessemed, Le Corbusier, Eug ne Delacroix, Isabelle Eberhardt, Douglas Gordon, Pierre Loti, Mona Hatoum, Vik Muniz and Henri Matisse.
