It is influenced by individual's environment which comprises family, society, beliefs and faith. Kama is associated with Purusharthas. The Purusharthas talk about what are our goals of life. From ancient times in India the goals of human life are defined and established in terms of Purusharthas. Purusharthas list out Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. ‗Dharma' is right path or truth, following or doing our duty in right way. ‗Artha' means material goods or in simple terms it can be regarded as money to avail economic interests in order to obtain wealth or material security. ‗Kama' is regarded as desire or pleasure but not only limited to sex also satisfying one's own needs in life.
