It includes the brilliant photographs of Alfonso, perhaps the greatest graphic chronicler of Madrid at the beginning of the 20th century; the prewar and wartime images of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and Gerda Taro; the postwar portraits of William Klein, Francesc Catal -Roca and Ram n Masats, among others; the post-Franco developing society immortalized by photographers from Spain and elsewhere such as Gianni Ferrari; the mythical images of the Movida in Madrid by Alberto Garc a-Alix; and the cultural and economic environment of the 21st century through the eyes of Cristina Garc a Rodero and Thomas Struth.
