About the Author
Constantine Petridis is curator of African art at the Cleveland Museum of Art and adjunct professor of art history at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Karel Nel is associate professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
