Joe Tenney is a seasoned hunter and deer tracker who shares his passion for the outdoors with his family, friends, and now his readers. Together with his trusty Bloodhound, he assists hunters in recovering game that might have been lost. When not immersed in his woodland adventures, Joe spends quality time with his wife and children, enjoying activities like hunting, fishing, off-roading, and boating.

Motivated by a lack of children's books about hunting, Joe embarked on writing his own. With the support of his family, he hopes to inspire parents and their children to step outside their homes and discover the joys that nature offers.

Zaki has been an artist his whole life, from painting to his recent career as a tattoo artist. When approached with the opportunity to do illustrations for a kids book he jumped at the opportunity. He did a great job bringing the vision to life.
